Procedures
- S-01 Internal volume assessment Measurement of interior extent, reported against the declared boundary. Where the interior exceeds it, the excess is recorded as measured and not represented.
- S-02 Route continuity assessment Confirmation that a route open at the previous revision remains open, and that its apertures answer to the same designations.
- S-03 Occupancy reconciliation Observed occupancy compared against assignment. A discrepancy is reported; it is not resolved by this procedure.
- S-04 Aperture control Opening, sealing, and retention of apertures, and the amendment of the routes that depend on them.
- S-05 Post-transfer measurement Re-measurement of a region after it has been transferred between representations. Undertaken as a matter of course, not on request.
- S-06 Retained movement assessment Designation and duration of movement retained after the movement has concluded, and the conditions under which it is released rather than retained.
Terms
Procedures are undertaken against a designation, never against an address. A client holding a designation may request the procedures listed above; a client without one is referred to the register.
Instruments do not correct one another. Where a procedure locates a difference between two instruments, the difference is entered on the record and both readings are retained; neither instrument is amended to agree with the other.
Procedures are not offered outside the publicly registered floor groups.
